This post is my first with regards to the AFL season and utilizing the ELO type rating system I put together over the last few months to try and turn a profit in a systematic and mechanical way in 2015. I won’t go into detail with how my ELO rating system works but lets just say it is extremely simple but seems to have worked well over previous years and hopefully continues to work well this year. The following lists the bets I’ve placed for round 1 and the agency that I’ve placed the bets with. It’s important to not only search for what seems like the best odds but also search for the best odds/line combination when doing line betting. Good luck for the season ahead and I’ll try and make sure that these plays are posted weekly once I’ve got my bets on so others can feel free to trail them if they wish.

Another important part of betting within Australia is to make sure you take advantage of offers and bonus bets which are readily available particularly at the start of the season. In saying that here is the first bet you need to be aware of, Topsport will match the first AFL Premiership bet placed with an additional bet on that team at the line in round 1 to the same value. Therefore I’ve placed the following:
