Hi Punters,

We had a much better time of things last weekend particularly due to Richmond winning against Collingwood. Carlton was once again a let down and their rating has now dropped to a level that should see them rarely be a betting proposition for the remainder of the season. Most of the favourites who had lines around the 20′s and 30′s went on to win by significant margins that meant they covered as well. If it wasn’t for so much being wagered on Carlton it would’ve been an exceptional weekend.

On to this weekend and I’m starting to gain more confidence with the selections. I feel reasonably good about this week and some of the lines available. I’ve also had to double bet one of the games because of an anomaly one of the bookmakers had which could be heavily rewarding (refer below). I’ve added a personal bet this week as well so lets hope another profitable week is upon us!

*Note: I’ve also put $40 on Geelong Cats at +29.5 due to an error on the Topsport website. It should be -29.5 so I’ve also placed the bet with pinnacle just encase Topsport rescind the bet. If not then you’d think Geelong should cover the +29.5 no worries as its a 58 point differential to the actual appropriate line. EDIT: Just got a call from Topsport and they’ve cancelled the bet already unfortunately and it didn’t slip through to the keeper, unlucky. Pinnacle bet on Geelong above still stands though!

Personal Bets
I’ve placed two personal bets this week both with Pinnacle and I simply think they are a good value proposition. I’ve backed Collingwood -17.5 and whilst they are playing away vs the Suns, GC are an injury ravaged team down on confidence and ripe to get beaten by a seemingly improved young Collingwood outfit by at least 3 goal. I’ve also backed Adelaide to win @ $2.64 given their solid record vs GWS since they entered the comp and their improved form under Phil Walsh. GWS Certainly are a different side this year but this is the kind of game they could still drop due to their sometimes inconsistent form.
